From BKK to Pratunam
Pratunam has its own Airport Rail Link stop — Ratchaprarop, one station before the Phaya Thai terminus — so it is one of the most direct rides from Suvarnabhumi: about 30 minutes with no change. About Pratunam
Pratunam is Bangkok's wholesale-fashion district, built around the Platinum Fashion Mall and a warren of market stalls where locals and small retailers buy clothing by the piece or in bulk. It is central, busy and unpretentious, with a cluster of hotels handy for early-morning shopping.
Its ace card for airport arrivals is the Airport Rail Link's Ratchaprarop station, right on the edge of the district — few central Bangkok neighbourhoods have their own airport-train stop. The BTS at Chit Lom and the Ratchaprasong malls (CentralWorld) are also within walking distance.
