How much is a Grab from Suvarnabhumi to central Bangkok?+
A Grab or Bolt from Suvarnabhumi to a central district is usually similar to a metered taxi once tolls and the airport surcharge are counted — roughly 350–500 THB in normal traffic. The app shows the fare up front, so there's nothing to negotiate; you'll need mobile data to book.
Is there Uber at Suvarnabhumi Airport?+
No. Uber doesn't operate in Thailand — it merged into Grab years ago. Use Grab or Bolt for app-based rides, or the official metered taxi rank on Level 1.
Can I pay by card in a Bangkok taxi?+
Assume cash. Most metered taxis take Thai baht only, and the 50 THB airport surcharge and expressway tolls are paid in cash, so withdraw or change some baht in the arrivals hall. Grab and Bolt can be set to pay by card in the app.
Does Suvarnabhumi Airport have free wifi?+

Which SIM card should I buy at Suvarnabhumi?+

At the public taxi desk on Level 1, between gates 4 and 7 — one floor below the Level 2 arrivals hall. Take a queue ticket and use only this official rank, not anyone who approaches you upstairs.
Can I sleep at Suvarnabhumi Airport?+
Yes. The airport is open 24 hours, with free rest zones airside and an in-terminal transit hotel that rents rooms by the hour. Keep your valuables and documents with you.
Do I need to tip a taxi driver in Bangkok?+
