The Airport Rail Link from Suvarnabhumi into Bangkok

The Airport Rail Link (ARL) City Line is the cheapest and most predictable way into Bangkok — it runs on its own elevated track, above the traffic. Trains leave from the basement of the main terminal and run to Phaya Thai, where you can change onto the BTS Skytrain.

• Board on basement level B of the main terminal, below the check-in hall.
• Ride the City Line to Phaya Thai (BTS interchange) or Makkasan, near MRT Phetchaburi — about 30 minutes end to end.
• Fares are 15–45 THB by distance; buy a token at the machine or tap a supported card.
• Trains run roughly every 10–15 minutes from early morning until about midnight — check the last train if you land late.
